MARISA BERENSON, nepoata Elsei Schiaparelli si a lui Bernard Berenson, critic si istoric de artã, si fiicã de diplomat, si-a început cariera la vârsta de 16 ani. La aceastã vârstã, ajunsã top model, apãrea pe copertile revistelor Vogue, Time si Newsweek si a altora din lumea întreagã. Isi începe cariera cinematograficã în filmul lui Luchino Visconti MOARTE LA VENETIA, Bob Fosse o alege pentru CABARET si Stanley Kubrick îi dã principalul rol feminin din BARRY LINDON. Toarna film dupã film. Devine Amasadoarea UNESCO si membrã a Consiliului de Administratie a Fondului International pentru promovarea Culturii. Prima ei carte, intitulatã DINCOLO DE OGLINDÃ, apare în noiembrie 1995. Poveste de dragoste între o cântãreatã de cabaret si un tânar englez, în Berlinul ascensiunii naziste. Film muzical, "divertisment sofisticat si plin de stil, adresat persoanelor adulte"(J. R. Taylor). MITUL DRACULA A AJUNS LA CENTENAR

Editia de anul acesta a festivalului DaKINO va gazdui spectacolul muzical-cinematografic original DRACULA, realizat de Christian Leroy si ansamblul "Métarythmes de l'air" ca acompaniament live al filmului omonim de Tod Browning (SUA, 1931). O importanta premierã la DaKINO, având în vedere faptul cã 1997 va fi "anul Dracula" si va marca o sutã de ani de la aparitia romanului lui Bram Stoker.

Compozitorul Christian Leroy va sustine spectacolul alãturi de muzicienii Phillipe Saucez si Sebastien Descamps.

This year's edition of DaKINO will host the original musical-cinematographical show DRACULA, performed by Christian Leroy and the "Metarythmes de l'air" ensemble, as the live soundtrack of Tod Browning film (USA,1931). An important premiere at DaKINO, considering that 1997 will be "the year of Dracula", celebrating a hundred years since Bram Stoker published his novel.

The composer Christian Leroy will perform together with Phillipe Saucez and Sebastien Descamps.
