PROBLEME CUNOSCUTE Aceasta versiune a chat-ului ruleaza cel mai bine in Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 sau 4.0. Aplicatia va rula deasemenea in Netscape Navigator, dar exista doua mici probleme. Cea mai importanta este ca atunci cand se incearca redimensionarea ferestrei browser-ului se creeaza o alta conexiune cu serverul de chat. Daca foslositi, deci, Netscape Navigator NU redimensionati fereastra browser-ului. Alta problema este ca in Netscape controalele de tip text nu au aceeasi dimensiune cu cele afiste in IE. Exista doua probleme comune ambelor navigatoare: Chat-ul nu va functiona daca se incearca crearea a doua instante ale aceluiasi aplet. De asemenea, chat-ul nu va porni daca sunteti conectati la Internet printr-un server proxy. Se iese din chat prin parasirea paginii, aceasta insemnand ca daca doriti sa reveniti, aplicatia va reporni.

KNOWN BUGS This version of chat is best experienced with Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 or 4.0. The application will also run in Netscape Navigator, but there are two problems. The most important is that: if you try to horizontally resize the browser, another connection with the chat server will be created. So, if you are using Netscape Navigator, please DO NOT resize the browser. The second problem, is that Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator do not show in the same way TextArea controls. There are still two another problems, common for both navigators. The chat will not work if you try to create two instances of the same applet. Also, the chat will not start if you are connected to Internet through a proxy server. You can leave the chat room simply by changing the page, but this means if you want to come back to chat, the application will start again.
